Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and Chief Tony
J. Crisp of the Maryville Police Department (MPD) announced the arrest
of Timothy L. Inman today.
Inman, age 37, from Blount County, Tennessee, was arrested for the robbery of the Capital Bank at 403 Foothills Mall Drive in Maryville, Tennessee, which was robbed Wednesday afternoon.
Inman was arrested without incident Friday evening, Walmart parking lot at 2410 Highway 411 South.
The arrest is the result of cooperative efforts of the FBI Safe Streets Task Force (SSTF), composed of the FBI, the Knoxville Police Department (KPD), and Knox County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO), in conjunction with the Maryville Police Department (MPD) and the Blount County Sheriff’s Office.
It is anticipated that Inman will appear before the United States District Court in Knoxville on Monday.
All defendants are presumed innocent unless or until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
